Noses are wonderful, aren't they? They help us breathe, enhance our facial makeup, and give unique definitions to our appearances and personalities. In Preposterous Proboscises, Norman Adams presents a humorous collection of noses, each more absurd and exaggerated than the last. Plucked from the recesses of Adams' wildest imagination, these noses vary in shape, size, color, and personality. Beginning with the evolution of the nose from our oldest primate ancestor, the ape, to ridiculous drawings of elephant trunks on human faces, you will find a wide range of pictures depicting the nose in all its diversity, both real (not really) and imagined. Lose yourself in the familiarity of a man's best friend, or maybe take a fleeting glance at the audacity of the running nose.

Treat yourself to a hilarious collection of illustrations and have a laugh or two with Preposterous Proboscises. Honestly, at first, I was a bit skeptical about reviewing a book of art dedicated solely to noses. However, once I dove into this quirky collection, I found myself chuckling and marveling at the sheer creativity and genius of nose-inspired art. Norman Adams is a master of his craft, presenting a collection of delightful drawings that wouldn't look out of place in a funny comic book or a satirical cartoon. This book will appeal to readers of all ages. Whether you're a teenager looking for some humor or an older person trying to lift your spirits, it will certainly brighten your day. I absolutely loved this book and can't recommend it highly enough!
