Valentyn Bannikov’s Project Manager's Handbook defines key concepts in the field of project management and it introduced me to the important role of a project manager. I found the information and guidance provided to be well thought out and easy to follow. There is plenty of knowledge to be gained within its pages the deeper I went. Bannikov’s descriptions gave me insight into what goes on behind the scenes and it is detailed without being too overwhelming. Instead, it challenged me to look for personal and professional growth and encouraged me to make positive changes along the way. It successfully highlights the importance of setting goals, analysis, and communication and reveals how the outcome of a project is greatly influenced by the project manager’s preparation and awareness. It is a highly recommended, worthwhile study for anyone willing to learn the ropes of becoming a project manager.
