Whoa! In a fast-paced thrill ride of a read by author B.B. Gallagher, Project Sparta will have readers on the edge of their seats from the start through to the very last page! Following the story of protagonist Xander Whitt, a young prodigy with skills the US government finds extremely interesting, he and nine others like them are developed into one of the most important weapons the government has ever possessed. Five years after the start of Project Sparta, Xander finds himself hunting Agent Zero, a terrorist threatening a major attack on our nation's capital. Xander and his fellow recruits work together to track down Agent Zero, but what they discover changes everything. Is Agent Zero truly one of them, and if so, what does that mean for their mission?
I very much enjoyed Project Sparta. Author B.B. Gallagher has created an exciting world with characters that are somehow fantastic and believable at the same time. As a fan of fiction for young adults, I found this read to be extremely high quality for the genre, and also felt that adult readers would enjoy this creative and unique story as well. Full of twists and turns, action and adventure, Project Sparta would appeal to anyone looking for a read that will hook them from the get-go, young adult or not. I highly recommend this book, and look forward to reading more from the highly talented author, B.B. Gallagher, as soon as I possibly can.
