After her mother passed away, Donna continued to work on her PhD and eventually became a behavioral research scientist. She found her dream job when APOPO, a Belgian non-profit, hired her, and she got to work with African giant pouch rats. These HeroRATS are trained to help humans in extraordinary ways.

Courtney shows how these HeroRATS are trained, alongside RescueRATS used for search and rescue operations in Turkey. All in all, it's a fantastic book for kids and animal lovers in general. Highly recommended.
