Return to Earth by James Huber is a sequel to Huber’s previous novel Venture Out, a section of which is included as a prelude to Return to Earth. Onyislov Abdulov (Uncle Ony) had been a cosmonaut from the old Soviet Union on Earth One. Now over 100 years old and living on Earth Two, he wishes to return home to Earth One. After complicated, detailed preparations by the crew, high-tech satellites and unique spacecraft make the journey possible. After many years away from Earth One, Ony must prepare for an unpredictable future on a planet that may not be in the same condition as when he left it.

Return to Earth is an interesting story, filled with suspense. Author James Huber has created a unique tale of life on a different planet. The interesting array of characters is all well-defined including Molter, Charley, Minal, and Ony. Each scene and location is described in enough detail to create a realistic place. James Huber has included many illustrations to enhance the story. I found the idea of two planet Earths interesting, although I'm not sure if it would be a good idea or a bad one for the human race to have such an option. It is up to the individual reader to decide for themselves. Hopefully, there will be a sequel so that we can find out what happens to Ony and the crew. All-round, a good story that I would recommend to any reader who enjoys futuristic or science fiction novels.
