Riley the Little Lost Corgi by Tammy Knudtson is an enjoyable picture book for young children. Riley the Corgi loves life, and more importantly, his Mommy and Daddy. One day whilst out playing in the yard, Riley spots a squirrel who looks exactly like his lifelong friend Skippy. Riley was so excited to find out if it was Skippy that he ran after the squirrel without a second thought. Despite his Mommy calling his name to come back, Riley was just too eager to follow what he thinks is his friend. Things don't work out well for Riley and he finds himself lost in the woods. Will he make it out safely? Find out in this book.
Riley the Little Lost Corgi was a pleasure to read. Children are going to love reading this adorable book as it inspires adventure. From start to finish, the storyline keeps your attention and delights you with alluring illustrations by the talented Robert Sauber. The story is well-written and simple to allow children to follow along easily. And as well as being an adventurous book, the story also has a sweet message behind it. It teaches children about unconditional love, and that no matter what happens or what they may do, children will always be loved by their parents or guardians. Every word written by Tammy Knudtson is beautiful and humble and my heart was warmed. I hope to see more of Tammy's wonderful books soon and I wish her all the best. Keep writing and stay creative!
