When Riley goes with his mom to the beach, he enjoys his walk and sees many different things to count: beach articles, toys, animals, boats, and more. Counting is fun, and Riley enjoys it a lot. Riley the Raccoon Counts to Ten: Learn to Count at the Beach is an excellent teaching guide for children. Kim Bates shows that objects do not have to be identical, just belong to the same category. Any child can follow Riley’s example and learn how to practice numbers one through ten. Learning numbers is considered to be one of the first steps in developing logical thinking, while creativity is derived from mathematics and instinct.
I liked Kim Bates’ work and Riley the Raccoon Counts to Ten is an enjoyable book. The drawings are warm and children will not tire of seeing them. The day Riley shared with his mom was lovely. The family union between mother and child is also a positive message for young readers. Not only does the book have a charming presentation, but the content is useful to stimulate a child's imagination and the ability to reflect. Children will learn to observe the things around them and see a new panorama. When children learn something new, they feel more confident and will be able to play sorting, observation, and comparison games when learning numbers. This is a good choice for kids to have fun while learning.
