Santa Cutie by Jenny Alexandra is the first book in the Cherryville series. Melody Whitaker loves Christmas more than life itself, and she throws everything she has, and more, at the season. In fact, she’s so addicted to Christmas trees, she has to rent a storage locker to store them in! This year, she gets to don the Mrs. Claus outfit for the local nursing home. She wants to spread some joy and happiness, but ends up with more than she bargained for when she meets Eben Golding. He hates Christmas with a passion, but he’s such a hottie that Melody can’t stop herself from flirting with him. When things go terribly wrong at the nursing home, it’s down to Melody to save the day and Santa from his hatred of all things Christmas. But does she have what it takes?

Santa Cutie by Jenny Alexandra is a spicy romantic comedy, definitely not for younger readers. It is action all the way with an eclectic cast of characters and plenty of humor. The characters feel real, and the two main ones have their own backstories that come out during the plot, adding to the intrigue and offering insight into why one loves the holidays so much and why the other hates them; stories I’m sure some readers will be able to relate to. It’s a fun read, and you’ll enjoy the plot, with plenty of laughter and a few blushes along the way. You’ll be rooting for the two main protagonists to work through their differences and find love and happiness. Overall, a good story to take you into the holiday season.
