Santa the Dragon: The Three Lights of Christmas by LJL is a magical story that captures the holiday spirit. The story follows young Leo, a thoughtful and imaginative boy, as he embarks on an extraordinary adventure with Shenlong Claus, the Dragon Santa. Together, they cross the mysterious Frost Fog, confront the shadowy Krampus, and discover the true meaning of Christmas through the Three Lights: Warmth, Welcome, and Wonder. The chapters mirror the progression of a magical Christmas Eve. Leo’s determination to bring light and warmth to his family and community is inspiring, while Shenlong Claus embodies the wisdom and magic of the season. Grandma’s gentle guidance and the loving support of Leo’s parents highlight the importance of family bonds and shared moments.

The story is well-paced, and the inclusion of small, meaningful details adds charm. LJL’s storytelling is enchanting, and the narrative is full of vivid imagery. The author’s ability to create a cozy, magical atmosphere is evident in every chapter, and the graphite illustrations add a nostalgic touch of Christmas. It is refreshing to read a book with illustrations reminiscent of the pre-technology days. Santa the Dragon: The Three Lights of Christmas is a story that’s a reminder of the beauty of giving, the importance of keeping doors open, and the magic that can be found in simple acts of kindness. It’s an ideal read for families to enjoy together during the holiday season, and teachers will find its simple message valuable for students. It’s a story to be read and cherished every holiday season.

Santa the Dragon is a Christmas tale for children by L J L. It's Christmas Eve, and Grandma has just told young Leo the story of Shenlong Claus. This ancient mythical creature embodies the spirit of Christmas wherever it goes. Soon, Leo meets Santa the Dragon and his Spirit Herd. As they roam above the snowy towns and villages, Leo discovers what it means to embody the spirit of Christmas, with its three key aspects. However, Leo and his newfound friends also come across the Frost Fog, where shadows attempt to spread cold and indifference. Chief among those shadow creatures is Krampus. Can Leo, Santa, and the Spirit Herd overcome the Frost Fog and spread the magic of Christmas where it's needed the most?

Santa the Dragon is a charming and uplifting adventure that beautifully captures the spirit of the holiday season. Filled with whimsy and wonder, this is the perfect book to give relatives, especially youngsters. Author L J L crafts a fast-paced narrative that wonderfully illustrates the magic of Christmas and what it truly means for most people, particularly children. Santa is a symbol of hope and light that is masterfully depicted through the character of Shenlong Claus. I also loved the portrayal of Leo. He is a kind-hearted young boy whom children can relate to, with the emotions and feelings that young readers can resonate with. The book also has plenty of action and charm to keep young readers engaged all the way through. Overall, it's a fantastic adventure for kids.

Santa the Dragon by L J L is a heartwarming tale of a magical Christmas, when Leo, his parents, and his grandmother are waiting for Santa. At least Leo is, while his parents are too busy with their emails to pay attention to him. Grandma tells him the story of Santa the Dragon after she notices Leo sketching something in his notebook that looks like a dragon. Grandma tells Leo about three kinds of light that help travellers find the way: Warmth, Welcome, and Wonder. Later, when Leo made his Christmas wish, he was alerted by a strange sound from outside, so he put on his boots and coat and went out to investigate. That’s when he met a very real dragon. It was a very friendly dragon, inviting Leo to climb on its back and go for a ride. Leo accepted the invitation, and the two of them spent most of the night flying over the houses in the neighbourhood, sharing the joy with the people below and fighting the evil creature Krampus, who rides the Fog and wants to spoil Christmas for everybody. Will it succeed, or will the three kinds of light, Warmth, Welcome and Wonder, defeat the malevolent creature?

I found this story mesmerisingly authentic in its scope, highly literate language, and beautiful, almost poetic narration. Young children would love to hear this tale read to them anytime, especially on Christmas Eve. The message packaged between the covers will convince them that the real values for youngsters to aspire to are not toys to receive but love to give. The artistic pencil drawings beautifully emphasize the content, and the ending of the tale is very satisfactory. I very highly recommend Santa the Dragon: The Three Lights of Christmas by L J L to parents and grandparents who want to raise their youngsters to believe in the right values and to share love with anyone needing it.
