The Blue Hole was in Big Pine Key in the Florida Keys. Penny the pelican, Annie the alligator, and Tommy the turtle all lived in Blue Hole and were Scary's friends. One day Scary was warming himself on the rock when Penny the pelican called him from her perch. Scary got scared and ran back under his rock. Anything and everything scared Scary.
