Secrets and Silk is the third book in the Delcinia Diaries series by Dania Voss. Growing up on her family's dairy farm in Orville, Ohio, didn't stop Natalie Wilson from becoming a runway model at Delcinia, one of the premier lingerie companies in New York. At the city's Fall Fashion Week, Natalie meets the charismatic Sebastian Scott, the frontman for the rock band Crimson Shadows. From their very first meeting, sparks fly between the two, and Sebastian falls head over heels for her. However, Sebastian's former girlfriend, Ann Meadows, who he was dating for PR reasons, desperately wants him back in her life. This threatens to put a strain on Natalie and Sebastian's relationship. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Natalie, her younger sister Faith is dating Sebastian's bodyguard, Berg.
Secrets and Silk is one of those comfort reads that you want to revisit over and over again. This novel has everything you want in a contemporary romance story. Dania Voss has written a heartwarming tale that will make you smile and leave you craving more. The story is a breeze to read, packed with humor, charm, and drama. Natalie and Sebastian have lively personalities, and their chemistry is electrifying. Although their relationship is the primary focus of the narrative, the secondary characters also have their moments to shine, especially Faith and Berg. All the characters are likable and very relatable. The dialogue is laced with humor and wit, and makes the conversations sparkle. Overall, it's a gem of a book for fans of contemporary romance.
