Working as Lexi’s photographer assistant was the perfect job for Lindley. She could live at home and save on those adult bills that would deem her independent. That was also the problem. She was an adult and sincerely needed to be making her own way in the world. When Lexi’s client load takes an intriguing turn to the Hollywood glam of male models, Lindley has the opportunity to meet and greet with a population so far removed from her small town element, that she cannot risk the chance to further her career, her exposure to the world, and the possibility of meeting Mr. Right. With the persistence of her boss, Lindley finds herself deeply head-over-heels with a screen star on the West Coast and a news anchor in New York City; both perfect specimens of the male species. Is she a California girl or does the Big Apple call her name?

Seeing What Develops by Terri Deno is a fun, contemporary romance written in a beach read attitude. Although the characters are faced with serious life altering situations, the carefree writing style is not compromised by serious plot twists and character conflict. I imagine Seeing What Develops to be a constant occupant of newsstand travel entertainment for every woman with a romantic escape in mind to enjoy and ultimately pass on to fellow readers. I enjoyed the passion that Lindley encountered in her dilemma of deciding between Eric and Michael, but was not offended by explicit sexual content.
