Seek Me by Crystal Cattabriga takes you on a journey of discovery and salvation that asks you to question what you want in life. Stemming from real-life experiences, the book is rooted in emotional and honest testimony that explores the concept of what individuals seek and how they tend to choose what is more comfortable. The goal of the author is to fill in the gaps by detailing God’s unconditional love and the salvation obtained through His will. As a resource for spiritual growth, Seek Me is about how to grow in love and open the heart and the mind to answers that many might not know they’re seeking. Personal experiences create a blend of devotional and testimonials for those seeking answers about Christ’s will.
The honesty that Crystal Cattabriga uses to share her actual experiences makes the book non-judgmental and a great resource. She briefly opens up about specific traumas and obstacles she has dealt with which include foster care, child abuse, loss, living on the streets, and divorce. These factors create a resource that is understanding and make it easy to form a connection with her as you read. These factors also give the book the feeling of a testimonial as she shares how God’s will provided her with a change for the better in her life. Despite some bad circumstances, the primary message is one of light, change through salvation, and finding positivity in life through a Godly outlook. Biblical scriptures are incorporated throughout to support the devotional elements and how finding salvation has provided he author with guidance. The book addresses topics such as who is God, what is God’s will, and what do you think of when you think of Jesus. A wide variety of themes is supported by biblical evidence and include grace, faith, humility, the church, baptism, sin, and love. Seek Me serves as a lovely reminder that Christ is more than going to church on Sundays, conveyed through a blend of real-life experiences and scriptures.
