Septan Phase II: Heaven's Truest Definition is the second book in Mr. Hisho Gaited's Sepan Phase trilogy. The book continues the previous installment, Pointless Wisdom Before Virgin Minds. It follows the life of Lucas Dionigi, a young man who wakes from a three-month coma during a sponge bath and soon finds himself whisked away from the hospital by a woman named Sasha Pierce. Between meetings with the lord of the underworld, Hades, he has sex dreams about a woman called Christy and dabbles in a series of sexual encounters with every beautiful woman he comes across, including a particularly long session with a couple of actual goddesses. Additionally, after a meeting with his boss, David Solomon, Lucas pursues Eva, a professor's daughter who sees a kindred spirit in Lucas and feels a mutual attraction.

Imagine Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with a lot more sex and fewer drugs, alongside a healthy dose of the wacky and supernatural, and you will end up with something like Septan Phase II: Heaven's Truest Definition. Mr. Hisho Gaited pushes the boundaries of the bizarre and surreal to their limits and takes you on a wild odyssey where you don't know what's coming next. The plot is intriguing as you find yourself hopping from one scenario to the other with a protagonist who is as unpredictable as he is compelling. Lucas is every teenage boy's dream of being a man, someone whose charms no woman can resist and who always has a witty retort to every quip. Overall, I enjoyed the book and recommend it to readers who love stories that take them by surprise.

In Septan Phase II: Heaven's Truest Definition by Mr. Hisho Gaited, the main character Lucas emerges from a coma that is the launching point of a bizarre voyage where he encounters a menagerie of other characters. Drug-fueled and dreamscape-style hallucinations dot a post-murder landscape. Tied in are literary abilities taking shape and interactions with a cult, as well as sexy bits and encounters with the likes of Hades only add to these newfound complexities of life. He enters a world of contradictory energies and coded messages as a result of conversations with the looming Solomon. Eva and Scott provide romance and intellectual dialogue that hinge on reality and perception. Lucas advances onward toward self-discovery and a deeper knowledge of his existence, fostering creativity and connections that will define his journey for decades.

I mean, where the heck do I even start? Septan Phase II: Heaven's Truest Definition by Mr. Hisho Gaited is a mind-bending reading experience that takes some time to get into. The prose is almost poetic in how Gaited formulates it, and while Lucas on mushrooms might come across as an unreliable narrator, you really want to believe everything that is happening is really happening. Was there a throne and a goddess? Did Hades really pitch the ultimate job opportunity? How do I meet Sir Sorcealot, and where can I check out this Enneagram personality system? So many questions, but this is the way the universe and its mysteries work, I suppose. I really liked it when the narrative shifted into slices that broke down the fourth wall and Gaited is good enough at writing them so that they aren't confusing. This book isn't for the faint of heart but readers who enjoy off-beat literary fiction will find it in this second book in the mystical Septan Phase series.

Septan Phase II: Heaven’s Truest Definition by Mr. Hisho Gaited is the second book of the Septan Phase Trilogy and a continuation of protagonist Lucas Dionigi’s journey through mind-bending alternate realities – in this case, Heaven and Hell – created by the hidden natural law called the Septan Phase. Hell. When a novel opens with a scene in which a for-hire driver, his passenger, and an alternate-reality overseer ingest hallucinogenic mushrooms and smoke dope while approaching a police highway checkpoint, you know that you are going to be reading something truly unusual and mind-bending. Septan Phase II lives up to its promise of being a wild and wonderful ride! Fantasy and reality blend together as Lucas indulges his compulsion to test reality in various ways, the result being that the narrative is endlessly fascinating and wildly unpredictable.

Along the way, Lucas engages in otherworldy sexual encounters racy enough to curl any erotica lover’s toes, breezes through Hades’ domain to be seduced by Persephone, explores a range of possible futures and an uncertain past, and learns that the primary difference between light and dark is the choices that we make. Each chapter of Septan Phase II is prefaced by relevant song lyrics that both tease the reader and give context for what is to come. Mr. Hisho Gaited has created, in Septan Phase II, a sequel strong enough to stand on its own as a compelling and thoroughly entertaining multi-dimensional romp. Readers on the lookout for something truly novel and adventurous, need to look no further. Septan Phase II will delight on every page.

Septan Phase II: Heaven's Truest Definition is a work of fiction in the literary style and metaphysical and philosophical subgenres. It is best suited to the mature adult reading audience and was penned by author Hisho Gaited. This second volume in the Septan Phase trilogy takes readers on a thought-provoking journey centered around a unique premise: being kicked out of Heaven. The protagonist, Lucas Dionigi, grapples with the consequences of his actions as he awakens from a comatose state to the realization that he has murdered Faith, his former employer's daughter. The narrative crafts a reverse-coming-of-age journey for Lucas, exploring the process of deconstructing one's past and reshaping it into a new understanding of the present.

Author Hisho Gaited examines the intricacies of the mind and its impact on one's perception of reality, leading Lucas to a profound realization of the truest definition of Heaven, not in the afterlife, but within the confines of Earthly existence. The book raises questions without providing definitive answers, encouraging readers to contemplate the complexities of existence and their own place within it, and this makes it an enjoyable slow-burn style read for fans of fiction who also want a psychological challenge in their novels. The narrative style delivered an intellectually stimulating experience filled with philosophical ponderings that challenge conventional thinking and encourage introspection. The story is well-paced and emotionally raw, delving into philosophical questions about the human condition, cosmic determinism, the nature of reality, and the interplay between logic and intuition, but in a relatable way as we learn these concepts through Lucas’s experiences and reflections. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Septan Phase II: Heaven's Truest Definition to fans of the series so far as a work that offers readers a captivating and thought-provoking exploration of life's most profound questions.
