Sophie Coming Home: The Englands Book Two by Rebecca Winkler is the continuation of Sophie and Jamie’s story. The story picks up with Jamie and Sophie, who are finally together and happy with their children in Italy. When Sophie travels to London for a business trip, she was only planning to be away from her family one night. However, she knew that something could go wrong. The plane crashed and almost killed everyone on board. Jamie believes that Sophie is also dead.
Until he can get DNA confirmation, he has to take care of their eight children. However, as luck would have it, Sophie is alive but suffering from a serious head injury. She was taken to a different hospital while she was in a coma, only to wake up in a strange place. Her mind is telling her something she knows, but cannot comprehend. She has a strong desire to leave London and be somewhere she is needed, but where? Can she find out where she must be? Will she ever find her way back home to Jamie and her children?
The novel brings Sophie and Jamie's story to a stunning conclusion. Rebecca Winkler did an amazing job of finishing the story with a bang. The novel was fast-paced, interesting, entertaining, and filled with witty humor. Sophie's growth and her confidence were very obvious; she was now embracing her talent rather than shrinking away from it. Of course, the connection between Jamie and Sophie was strong and absolute. I really enjoyed reading this action-packed and nail-biting conclusion to a very interesting series.
