Edgar Black has created an energy source from a piece of rock brought back from the moon. This energy source, Lunollium, will end the need for fossil fuel production. Many people in the world, reliant on their product (oil) being used to provide fuel, don’t want this invention to see the light of day. Edgar Black is killed, and his invention has disappeared. But has it? Before his death, he split his research into four pieces and placed them in various locations worldwide. An unlikely team of Joe Vance, an auditor, injured former NFL star Hulk Hansen, Edgar Black’s dear friend Dru Stewart, and her boyfriend Warren Cook band together to retrieve the pieces and get the complete project to the UN. Do they succeed? Read Special Interest by Aaron T. Knight to find out.

Special Interest is a fast-paced, action-packed story from cover to cover. The invention of Lunollium is made plausible by the author's ingenious idea. If such an invention did exist, it would change the world, and the action in this book would most certainly take place. The best part of the story is that the reader has no idea who to trust; there’s double-crossing, triple-crossing, and lots of lying. It’s not until the final chapter that the reader learns who is in it for saving the Earth and who is in it for personal gain. Fans of action, adventure, thriller, terrorist, and environmental fiction will love this excellent book as much as I did.
