Spirit of Your Soul by Peg Roberts, M.Ed. is an impressive collection of writing that explains the natural connection between our mind, heart, and soul. Insightful, the book examines life's journey, struggles, perspectives, and the impact they have on our personal growth. In the modern-day hustle and bustle, this book could not have come at a more opportune time. It inspires you to set time aside for yourself to gain much-needed clarity. With knowledge and perception, the author helps you discover your greatest desire in life, realize what an incredible person you are and feel gratitude for what you have. The book challenges you to see life more clearly and get to know yourself better.

Spirit of Your Soul is a straightforward and charming book that will resonate with readers of different ages and backgrounds. My favorite section of the book discusses how humans collect meaningless objects that tend to gather dust in the attic instead of holding onto the things that truly matter, such as friendships. The range of topics is awe-inspiring as the author seemed to know exactly where I struggle. By keeping her writing simple, I effortlessly understood the book and grasped the lessons Peg Roberts was teaching. As it encouraged me to keep life in perspective and set my priorities straight, Spirit of Your Soul taught me the importance of getting to know myself better.

Spirit of Your Soul is Peg Roberts's first poetry compilation and, as a debut collection, it draws our attention. She describes in the introduction that she started writing after a visualization exercise inspired her to pen the words that now form the title of her collection. The poems, divided into 11 parts, address themes such as searching, decisions, emotions, and inner growth. In short, Roberts writes on fascinating and complex issues in a conversational tone that helps even the most inexperienced reader to understand them.

I could not believe that Spirit of Your Soul is Peg Roberts's first collection. For the depth and wisdom of every single poem, I was sure that this was the work of an established poet. In any case, I hope that she has the success she deserves because, in a confusing world like ours, reading and listening to Roberts's words is essential to living a more balanced and serene life. I liked the introspection and insight of the poems because I usually reflect on similar themes. I felt I was talking to a friend who knows me very well. Spirit of Your Soul came at the right time for me and helped me to expand my vision and find answers that eluded me. I recommend Spirit of Your Soul to all readers who like to ponder on their life, mind, and soul; they will be as pleased as I am. In the meantime, I express my gratitude to Roberts for sharing with us the spirit of her soul.
