Stolen is a work of fiction in the thriller, suspense, and action subgenres. It is best suited to mature teen and adult readers owing to some scenes of violence and moderate adult language throughout Penned by author C. R. Alvarez, this gripping tale follows protagonist Kyle Reagan, who, after leaving a college graduation party, finds himself kidnapped alongside other vulnerable individuals from the streets of Phoenix. Awakening on a bus filled with these stolen men, Kyle realizes the dangerous uncertainty of his fate. Stripped of identification and the means to return home, he must confront the unknown as he is taken out of the country. With no way to contact his family, Kyle faces a harrowing struggle for survival and freedom, determined to escape his captors and reunite with his loved ones.

Author C. R. Alvarez has crafted an intense and heart-pounding experience from the moment Kyle is taken, immersing readers in a world of uncertainty and peril. The book's fast-paced narrative kept me on the edge of my seat, eager to uncover the mysteries surrounding Kyle's abduction. Thanks to the author’s narrative skill, I became emotionally invested in Kyle's journey, feeling his fear, determination, and hope for rescue in every detail of the text.
