Starting middle school is something completely new. There’s a lot that changes when you go from elementary school to middle school and that’s part of the reason it scares so many people. Unfortunately, the choices you make in middle school will follow you for a long time and that makes it difficult to know what choices to make. In this 'choose your own book,' you’ll be able to see some of the choices that you just might be faced with. You’ll also be able to decide what you would do. Find out what type of person you’ll be in sixth grade with Surviving Middle School by Dave McGrail.
I have always loved 'choose your own adventure' books and I’ve looked for them a lot. This one seemed even more interesting to me because it’s about something that we’ve all gone through. The situations seemed realistic for a sixth grader. They are all about the feelings and people you may find yourself introduced to when you’re starting a new school. I felt this book was an interesting example. It’s also great for kids because it is so realistic but still fun for them to experience. The fact that they get to make their own choices and change the outcome of the book is a lot of fun as well. Surviving Middle School by Dave McGrail is a book that will be good for boys or girls entering middle school. It’s also funny for younger kids as well.
