Sometimes it’s just too difficult to sit still. That’s Gracie’s problem. She’s so full of energy that she feels compelled to always be on the move, tapping her pencil, wiggling in her seat, and kicking soccer balls into the wrong net, earning the opposing team the score. In Dawn Renee Young’s Tap – Tap – Tap, Gracie doesn’t seem to get anything right because she tries too hard. Then she joins her best friend, Lacey, at a tap dancing class and Gracie finds a way to channel her energy and do everything just right.
