The tools in the book will guide readers on how to treat themselves with self-compassion, make a customized self-care plan, have a support system for success, and be consistently optimistic and enthusiastic. The author also speaks about how her past habits had created an unbalanced state of wellness and she knew she had to change her habits to create a better and healthier future.
The Athena Principles will help readers to achieve positive wellness in a way that feels right for them. The name Athena is used after the Greek goddess of reason, intellect, and art. The first section of the book is a good way to understand the important link between self-integration and health and how to build a strong body, a calm mind, and an enlivened spirit. The second section looks at the Five Principles of Athena extensively and is a good way to reshape life. Kathy Robinson truly represented the perfect balance between left-brain logic and objectivity and right-brain intuition and creativity. The steps outlined can be adapted to meet individual needs and outline a holistic, integrated approach to create a lifestyle that will help readers to reprioritize the needs of the self.
