The Christmas Tree That Changed The World: A North Pole Tradition by Cookie Claus is a fantastic kids' picture book. Meet Spruce, a young evergreen tree, and Holly, a spotted puppy. They are the best of friends and love to spend their days talking. One day, as Christmas approaches, they decorate Spruce as the first Christmas Tree of Kindness. Along the way, they learn much about life and have fun creating happy memories to keep forever.

The Christmas Tree That Changed The World by Cookie Claus is a lovely story with unique, colorful illustrations that bring the story to life before your eyes. It is a fun kids' story, but it also teaches important lessons, such as good deeds are always rewarded in some way and that just a few small acts of kindness can change the world. The wonderfully named Cookie Claus has given this story a great deal of thought. It is well-written in clear, easy language, perfect for its intended audience, and is a book that kids will want to read repeatedly, no matter the time of year. This may be a Christmas story, but the lessons are ones we can all learn at any time of the year, and it is the kind of story that helps kids remember those lessons easily. The characters are well-thought-out and fun; the story flows well and has a lovely ending. It is a story for all kids to enjoy, but I’m sure more than a few parents and grandparents will love it too.

The Christmas Tree That Changed the World: A North Pole Tradition is a children's book written by Cookie Claus and wonderfully illustrated by Lam Quach. Spruce the evergreen tree and Holly the spotted puppy are the best of friends. Both are so excited because Christmas is soon here. Putting their heads together, they tried to find the best way to brighten up Spruce's branches this year. They thought of putting an ornament on a branch after each act of kindness, but a nearby snowman thought that would be pointless as they are just a single puppy and tree. Adding to their excitement, Spruce and Holly knew they would end up on Santa's Nice List. Spruce provided shelter to a rabbit warren. Squirrels were provided with food by Spruce, Holly returned toys to the children. When singing broke out around the beautifully decorated tree, Santa decided to put everybody on the Nice List this year, bringing seasonal joy throughout the world.

I am still smiling ear to ear as I found both the story and the illustrations in The Christmas Tree That Changed the World positively energetic, fun, and delightful. The story reminded me very much of the illustrated books that I would always read as a child, charging up my happiness and joy in every possible way. Children worldwide will receive amazing ways in which to play and celebrate the festive season, and I recommend this book to be read and enjoyed by all youngsters who celebrate Christmas, bringing about the same twinkle in the reader's eye as Santa Claus himself has when he delivers gifts to all those on the Nice List. I highly recommend both home and school libraries carry Cookie Claus's book for some imaginative reading at any time of the year.

Get into the Christmas spirit and spread the message of kindness with The Christmas Tree That Changed The World. Written by Cookie Claus with some colorful illustrations by Lam Quach, the book follows the story of two friends, Spruce and Holly. Spruce is a young evergreen tree who loves nothing more than to feel the warmth of the sun and talk about important things with his best friend, Holly, a spotted puppy, in their small Christmas town at the North Pole. One Christmas morning, the two friends decide to decorate the Christmas tree by placing one ornament on a branch after one of them completes an act of kindness. Soon, Spruce and Holly offer chestnut bunnies a home, return a lost baseball, share seeds with squirrels, and help an injured child to make this one the best Christmas ever.

A simple act of kindness goes a long way in making the world a better place to live. This is the primary message of The Christmas Tree That Changed The World. Author Cookie Claus brings the joyous spirit of Christmas to the pages with a wholesome short story about two friends who work together to change the world with one act of kindness at a time. Lam Quach's vibrant illustrations catch your eye and make the story all the more fun and enjoyable to read. Spruce and Holly are adorable characters you're bound to love. The Christmas Tree That Changed The World is guaranteed to lift your spirits and leave you with a smile on your face.
