The Harlan Artifact is a supernatural thriller by Greg Marchand. Twenty-four-year-old Lainey Tuttle isn't exactly satisfied with her life in Harlan, Indiana. Despite her unique retrocognitive abilities, she finds it difficult to bond with anyone other than her best friend, Rachelle Burke. Not long after Rachelle's brother inexplicably goes missing, a Fright Night Trail Run in the woods leaves behind a trail of disemboweled bodies and Rachelle in a terminal coma. The entire town is now locked down, and Lainey must get to the truth before more innocent lives are lost. She seeks the help of archaeology professor Clyde Duggard and, using her visions, discovers a way she might stop an ancient evil from causing more bloodshed. With Officer Hendershot and her nephew Slim, Lainey must eliminate this evil once and for all.

Get ready for a bone-chilling ride of suspense, horror, and thrills with The Harlan Artifact. Greg Marchand's gripping narrative will have you biting your nails at regular intervals with shocking reveals and heartbreaks you never see coming. As a reader, you find yourself constantly on the edge of your seat because it feels like no one is safe, and your favorite characters might die at any moment. The stakes are always high. The characters are easy to relate to, and they will make you laugh and break your heart in equal measure. I was pleasantly surprised by the humor sprinkled throughout the pages and thoroughly enjoyed the witty dialogue and realistic conversations between the characters. Overall, a brilliant supernatural thriller that I will highly recommend.
