The Legend of Christmas Magic is a tale within in a tale. Every child can enjoy this adorable and magical fable. A.D. Trosper has written a unique story around the legend of Father Christmas. Writing of the ancient traditions of Christmas and where they come from, Trosper offers a story outside of the typical stories taught to children nowadays. The Legend of Christmas Magic teaches the deeply spiritual value of giving just for the sake of giving while having care, concern and compassion for others during the darkest and coldest times in their lives. This huge concept is broken down in a way in this story that offers young children an opportunity to understand it and happily accept it.

As a mother, I have shared stories with my children from the moment they were born, and look forward to adding The Legend of Christmas Magic to our collection of traditional Christmas stories. I found A.D. Trosper’s story in The Legend of Christmas Magic to be not only wonderful and charming, but a perfect option when looking for something I find to be spiritual, yet non-religious. Trosper created a cozy feeling from the first few pages. I felt as if I, too, was wrapped up in a warm, cozy blanket and a pile of pillows with my own children, ready to tell them a magical legend of how Christmas came to be. This well written short story is one parents will want to tell year after year and one that children will ask to hear again and again.
