My name is PG Harding.
I’m an Electrical Engineer, Project Manager, father of two wonderful children and the author of The Messenger Within.
In the mid 1990’s I was struck by an odd and frightening coincidence that scientists believe exists between Earth and Venus. That coincidence started a “what if” thought in my mind. Over the next five years that thought continued to pop up periodically and did not dissipate as I expected it would. In 2001, I decided to do something about it and thus began a fifteen-year journey filled with stops and starts as I struggled to write, work full time and raise two children. The Messenger Within is the result of many hours of hard work, limitless imagination, the joy of the written word and a determination to never give up.
Finally, I have to say that, whether or not this novel is successful, writing it has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. If you, as the reader, feel even a tenth of the joy I had in writing this story, then I believe that I’ve succeeded in my art.
All my best to you and let’s hope that the threat described in this story will never, ever come to pass.

In a unique and interesting new read by author PG Harding, The Messenger Within is one that many readers will find difficult to put down. Follow the story of four individuals who have little in common, but who will find themselves drawn together in an almost impossible quest to save the world. Characters Scott, James, Matt, and Shannon must do their best to save the Earth from its impending doom, and to succeed they may have to do something that humans have not done so well in the past; trust not only others, but others from another planet. In an adventurous race against time, our surprising heroes must do all they can to save humankind. Will they succeed? You'll need to read the book to find out!
I found The Messenger Within to be a very readable book by what appears to be a very promising debut author. Creating a work of science fiction that is also somehow realistic is not an easy feat to pull off, but author PG Harding has done just that. This book is a real roller coaster, and will keep readers obsessively turning the pages all the way through until the very end. Readers who enjoy science fiction should definitely grab this book, but even those just looking for a unique new read of fiction in general should consider giving it a chance. I am pleased to recommend this book, and certainly hope that author PG Harding is already hard at work on his next edition!
