"The Neti Pot" has been around throughout history, long before the appearance of medicinal nose sprays and cure-alls. The physiological side of the practice is usually unknown but what is known is the wonderful effect it has on allergies and stuffed up noses. The Neti Pot has wonderful illustrations teamed with easy to understand explanations of how the systems work. The nose is more than it is given credit for! The Danger Triangle, the area between the three sets of sinuses, provides signals of things askew. This area, with its close proximity to the brain, is watched by medical practitioners with an acute alertness. Should an infection travel to the blood, the chance of it traveling into the brain is high. It is important to maintain health and the author explains in detail why a person should also practice sinus cleansing and the routine in which it should be done. Neti Pot usage does take getting used to it but once that hurdle is overcome, it is easy and refreshing.

I personally have used this type of product to relieve allergies, colds and sometimes just headaches. It really works! Now that I have been educated, I fully appreciate what I do for my body. Also noted were the things that one must do in order to gain maximum relief, avoid a foreign infection (use distilled water) and taking care of the equipment. I highly recommend this book to anybody who is considering to use or is currently using a Neti Pot!
