The Pink Dog Chronicles from The Tavern of The Divine: Your Invitation to a Stress-Free Peaceful Mind, Volume 1 is a collection of inspirational poetry written by Sharon Mounu Riddell and The Pink Dog. Mounu invites her readers to partake of the vintages to be found in Ye Olde Tavern of the Divine, where Bountiful Bliss and other delights await them. Mounu’s relationship with her beloved Pink Dog is a special and intense one, but she shares the insights she’s gained from their friendship to show how anyone, even if they don’t have a special dog in their lives, can find the peace and bliss described in their poems.
As someone who’s been privileged to be the human companion of several special dogs, I felt particularly in tune with the poems and inspirational teachings contained in Sharon Mounu Riddell and The Pink Dog’s inspirational poetry collection, The Pink Dog Chronicles from The Tavern of The Divine, and I’m hoping that these poets inspire others to make room for a dog in their lives as well. There is no stronger bond of unconditional love and trust than that between a canine companion and their human.
Some of the poems are autobiographical in nature and share Riddell’s experiences with the outside world. I especially liked her opening poem, The Child and The Pup, which explores the magic to be found within the wisdom and love of a puppy. Each poem further instructs the visitor to Ye Olde Tavern about the joys to be found within and carries a subtle and illuminating message. The Pink Dog Chronicles from The Tavern of The Divine: Your Invitation to a Stress-Free Peaceful Mind, Volume 1 is most highly recommended.
