Titanian's Phoenix is a work of fiction in the paranormal fantasy, romantic fiction, and interpersonal drama sub-genres, and was penned by author Victoria Saccenti. The work is intended for the mature adult reading audience and contains some scenes of a sexual nature. Written as part of the Titanian Chronicles, our protagonist is Maya Brown, a New York native who doesn’t believe in much, especially not magic. So when Maya finds herself in the clutches of kidnappers alongside her godmother Anna, she is shocked to find not only that elves exist, but that her own heritage relates back to them. A handsome stranger named Soren holds the answers. What results is a highly engrossing fantasy romance tale that is sure to keep readers turning the pages from cover to cover.

Author Victoria Saccenti has crafted an engaging and cinematic work of fiction with plenty of thrills, chills, and intense romance moments to offer readers. One of the features which I found particularly impressive about this piece was the conceptual world in which it is set, which crosses over the mundane lives of humankind with a stylish, secretive world of elvish magic. The development and close narration of the central pairing really enhances the romantic content, delivering meaningful dialogue and vivid descriptions to show us the love that blossoms there. What results is an exciting and passionate start to what promises to be an engaging and original new series. Overall, I would highly recommend Titanian's Phoenix to fans of urban fantasy worldbuilding, high stakes action, and for steamy romance fans everywhere.

Imagine an elderly relative telling you stories of a magical realm's existence. Anna told her god-daughter several stories about elves, titans, and more creatures that coexisted among humans. Maya dismissed the stories about magic as make-believe or perhaps senility in her godmother. Then the unthinkable happens. In Titanian's Phoenix, Victoria Saccenti shows Maya Brown's discovery of the truth behind Anna's stories. Maya arrives home from work and is drugged by an unknown assailant. When she wakes up, she finds Anna has also been abducted. Anna assists Maya's escape with magic and advises her to find Soren or Brant. When she arrives at the bar, she asks the barmaid where to find Soren. Soren appears suddenly behind her, causing her to faint. He has been expecting to claim Maya as his mate. Before her arrival, Soren had been watching a meeting between a man, daemon, and an elf about the production of something that would change the dynamics of the magical realm's existence. Maya is about to embark upon a life-altering journey into the realm of magic.

I have only positives to say about Titanian's Phoenix. The descriptions of the scenery and the well-developed characters allowed my full engagement with Victoria Saccenti's story. I felt the frustration that Maya felt when she didn't understand how Soren could be amorous one day and dismissive the next. I was suspicious of Talaith's quiet role as a powerful seer. This is a story that will captivate your mind and keep you begging for more. I sincerely look forward to reading the other books included in this series. I recommend this book for mature adults due to the explicit scenes, violence, and profanity.

Titanian’s Phoenix by Victoria Saccenti is a contemporary paranormal romance. After the deaths of her parents, Maya Brown moved in with her godmother Anna. Raised on exciting mythical stories she thought were make-believe, Maya gets a rude awakening when she is kidnapped by a creature that isn’t human. Only one person can save her from those who pursue her. Soren Westerberg never thought he would have a mate but from the first glance at Maya, he knows she belongs to him. He will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Her kidnapping is not an isolated situation. Supernatural creatures have been turning up dead all over the world. Maya and Soren must uncover a dangerous plot and still have a happily ever after in the end.

I love paranormal fiction - the edgier and more unique the better. Titanian’s Phoenix ticks all the boxes in this regard. Victoria Saccenti writes a story filled with lots of supernaturals, some known, unknown, and uncommon. She uses myths taken from every region of the world to weave a truly intriguing tale. People who like stories involving the gods and their various pantheons will like this book. The story of fated mates has been done over and over but this book has it with a twist. It has a great romance story and also a subplot laced with enough danger to keep things interesting. I’m sure there will be more stories coming from the Titanian Chronicles world and I look forward to reading them.
