In To Gaze Upon a Darkened Cloud: A Desperate Race Against Climatic Armageddon by N. Joseph Glass, the clouds are getting darker and heavier, and climate collapse is certain. Dr. Michelle Andreson needs to find out what’s behind the clouds, and she won’t stop until she can stop the collapse and end what will almost certainly lead to extinction. The answers might be found in the unlikeliest of places when a disillusioned religious leader and a Ghanaian farmer approach Michelle, but neither of them could predict what they’ll learn along the way. Can they halt chaos in its tracks, or is humanity about to be destroyed?
Given the current climate change crisis we might be facing now, To Gaze Upon a Darkened Cloud by N. Joseph Glass is a timely book, and it’s also pretty scary. It’s well-written in a way that’s easy to follow, and the writing style makes it very simple to picture the story and feel as though you are there. The main characters are well-rounded people with real personalities, and you’ll be on their side right from the start. Both the characters and story are entirely believable, and it’s a real eye-opener to something that could easily become reality. With plenty of action to keep you engaged, this is an edge-of-your-seat thriller that will make your heart pound in fear, and it might just make many readers sit up and take notice of the possibilities of what could happen in the future. A riveting story, and highly recommended for fans of thrillers and disaster stories.
