The year is 1915, and on a mysterious, unwelcoming island, four sisters are born six hours apart, each with distinct characters and even more distinct smells. Galatéa, Eleni, Calista, and Agatha. If you ignore that the whole island is whispering about them, you can say they had an everyday life until they turned fourteen, 35 years after they were born. On the morning of their fourteenth birthday, Mytro, their mother, anxiously leads them down a dreaded path, but her anxiety is more about her daughters’ fate than the dreaded path. The way merely leads to the doorway of the Land of the Lion, a world where the past, present, and future happen at once. Only one sister is destined to find the Lion, while one sister will be unable to live with her fate. The only key to the Land of the Lion is the one who bears the mark. Tzia: The Book of Galatéa by Mister Sanamon is only the beginning of the Tzia story.

Tzia: The Book of Galatéa is like a magical blend of Alice in Wonderland, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and something different. I was amazed by Mister Sanamon’s imagination’s ability to create the world featured. I loved its suspense-laced plot and exotic characters and how the plot and characters unraveled slowly; I didn’t learn everything until the end. I also liked the drawings that illustrated this story; they helped my imagination. It ends on a mouthwatering cliffhanger, and I’m eager to read The Book of Theodora. I’m curious about Mister Sanamon’s unusual name, which is the same as that of a mysteriously compelling character in this tale. Where does the line between fiction and nonfiction end? Tzia was a creative adventure, and I eagerly recommend it to fantasy and adventure lovers.
