One of the most horrific problems in schools today is bullying, not just in the high schools anymore but even in grade schools. What turns these children and the youth into bullies? At one time they were respected students and friends. People used to think being a bully was just a harmless prank, but it has now turned into a national problem. Almost every day in the paper or on the news, we read of a suicide that was caused from someone being bullied. Has some form of abuse turned a once sociable youth into the bully, or is television promoting this type of behavior? No one really knows what goes on in the life of a bully. Neither do many understand the torment the victim faces. When we think of bullies, we often think just of schools, but there are bullies in the work place and throughout society.

In Unloved, we find seven short stories written by different authors. These stories are quite graphic in nature and have coarse language, but they send a message to the victim of bullies: you are loved. There is no one that is unloved. One life lost through suicide due to bullying is one life too many.

If you know someone who is a victim of a bully, give them a copy of this book to read. This book is dedicated to all of those who have been through that ordeal at one time. The authors have stated that all proceeds from this book will go charities in support of Bully and Suicide Prevention. This book is well written and developed. I highly recommend it.
