Utopia Project: The Arrow of Time is a work of fiction in the science fiction and adventure subgenres, and forms the final novel of the Utopia Project trilogy. Penned by author Billy Dering, it is best suited to mature teens and adult readers. After the dangerous post-apocalyptic escapades that plagued our central characters from the start of the series, things are still not looking good for Kid Carlson and Sarah Hyland. Shocking revelations about Sarah’s parents bring old enemies out of the woodwork. At the same time, the utopia project develops a devastating new means to track down the final survivors and end their freedom for good.
Billy Dering has pulled out all stops for the stunning conclusion to this conceptual, high-action trilogy. I enjoyed the idea behind this series from the beginning and followed its twists and turns through military and political movements, rebellions, kidnappings, and multiple battles; Utopia Project is the penultimate of these elements. Kid faced some of the toughest challenges I have ever seen any adventure hero face, especially in such a dangerous post-apocalyptic world. I remained glued to my seat, desperate to keep reading. I would highly recommend Utopia Project for fans of the existing series and for science fiction readers seeking a fully encompassing trilogy with fantastic worldbuilding, immersive atmosphere, locations, and characters who will have you desperate to know what comes next.
