What happens when a big city girl meets a guy she thinks is country? In Wilde Riders: Old Town Country Romance, Volume 1 by Savannah Young, the sparks fly between Riley, who wants nothing to do with Wall Street Wannabes, and Cooper, a Manhattan financial expert who happens to be ‘home’ in the country to help his brothers with their country bar. Afraid that Riley won’t even give him a chance if she knows the truth, Cooper doesn’t let on that his ‘real’ life is on Wall Street just like hers. Of course, before he can own up to it, a jealous townie spills the beans and Cooper is left to not only help get the family bar back in shape, but to try to mend his broken heart. Riley has to come to terms with what has happened as well since it was her stubbornness that caused the problem. Should she let Cooper explain to see if a little bit country will work out with a whole lot of city?
Wilde Riders: Old Town Country Romance, Volume 1 by Savannah Young is a great romantic read with just the right touches of ego, jealousy, competition and a straight-forward drive toward career goals. The question is if there is, in fact, room for love in those plans and Cooper and Riley are determined to figure it out. What they have between them is just too good to let go – certainly more than the quick weekend fling they both thought it would be at first.
