Author Biography

Carol Bullman is a former teacher, a children's book author, and the mother of two boys. Her best ideas seem to come while she is holding a baby, as both of her published picture books were born of infant inspiration. The first line of YOUR NURSERY IS AN EVERYWHERE came to Carol early one morning when she woke up to a ceiling full of stars. She lives in Texas with her family.

Your Nursery Is an Everywhere by Carol Bullman is a magical and beautiful storybook that gives glimpses of a mother's unconditional love for her baby. She transforms the little one's nursery in a unique and surreal manner, making it into a world full of dreams for the baby. She tells the baby that the ceiling of her nursery is a sky of stars and she looks into the child's twinkling eyes and prays for all the wishes to come true for her. She wishes that when her baby walks she will wobble through with sun-warmed, windblown hair, and a flower floor will sprout beneath them. They find a farm with playful goats, soft lambs, and bunnies. Their chair becomes a boat and they can hear the ocean calling them. The mother knows the baby will soon outgrow the room and her arms and become a part of the wider world where her light will shine. Let us read the story to experience the magic of the nursery a mother wishes for her baby.
