Zada 5: Path of the One by R. D. Moreno starts with a mission where Adam, who is very close to the emperor and his daughter, is caught behind enemy lines. His brother, who is also part of the mission, is very eager to rescue him, but he is not aware of everything that is happening. With Eric's help, will they be able to retrieve Adam without taking unnecessary risks? Can Connor successfully tap into his abilities and prove himself? In other matters, the emperor finds himself questioning the loyalty of his brother. Growing up, they were close, but this changed after their mother’s death. His brother was put in charge of R&D, manufacturing, and mining at a young age, which enabled him to develop various advanced weapons like the Sonic bomb. Where does the Zada 5 portal lead to, and how will things turn out?

Zada 5 by R. D. Moreno is wonderfully written with an action-packed plot packed with suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat from the first chapter to the last. The writing style is crisp, engaging, and filled with well-crafted dialogue that brings the story and the well-developed characters to life. Moreno ensured all events and emotions were vividly captured, which helped create a mental picture for me of what was happening, and I also loved the seamless flow of events, which left no room for confusion. The reader will also appreciate the thought-provoking nature of this work on issues such as technology and its application in the world today, where weapons are so much more advanced. This is a good book, and I am looking forward to reading something else by this author.
