The title of this book is misleading. The zombies in this book are not the living dead but conservatives who see the true value of free enterprise and democracy. The main character in this book is a person who creates a website which he uses to mock what he considers to be money hungry, tight fisted corporate types.
The text reads like a personal journal by Corky and ZombieStopperUno. ZombieStophi is a website for the disgruntled youth who want to change the world…particularly this country. After two fire bombings the website becomes even more popular. The Jackal takes credit for the bombings. The media and authorities speculate that Corky or ZombieStopperUno is the Jackal.
The ZombieStop Parade is excellent pop-fiction. The story is witty, satirical, entertaining and appealing to Generation-Next readers. The style makes this book. While I don’t agree with content, I love the style. This book pushes a progressive philosophy and will challenge the beliefs of many of us. This book needs editing. Young Progressives will enjoy this book.
