Learning to eat healthily has become of primary importance for all of us. For some people, this became inevitable after discovering they had heart disease, diabetes, or obesity. For others, eating healthy food is essential for maintaining optimal health. Whatever your motivation for seeking a balanced diet, 3-in-1 Diet Cookbook by Dr. Shantha Kumar will surely help you find the solution that is right for you. After an introductory part in which Dr. Kumar examines the previously mentioned diseases and gives useful information even to healthy people, 3-in-1 Diet Cookbook presents a series of recipes, complete with nutritional facts so that you will have your 10-day vegetarian menu.

For some time now, health has become my priority. As a consequence, I have started paying more attention to what I eat. Although I have read other books that explain the importance of eating healthily, I have always thought that they have a theoretical approach and rarely give sound advice from a practical point of view. Kumar's 3-in-1 Diet Cookbook has just a short introduction, and then it focuses on what everyone who reads a book like this is looking for, that is, vegetarian recipes that help you to achieve your goal of taking care of your health. Since I have always been interested in a vegetarian diet, 3-in-1 Diet Cookbook is an enlightening read in this regard. I think I have found the book I needed. Thanks to Dr. Shantha Kumar's comprehensive book, following a vegetarian diet will no longer be a problem for me, and I hope for you too.

Diet doesn’t necessarily mean cutting things out of your regular food consumption; nor does it mean you have to starve yourself for optimal results. Diet is what you choose to eat and how it benefits your body and overall health. However, in order to benefit from what you choose to eat, it’s always good to know how many various nutrients to include in your daily diet.

“Maintenance of overall good health involves an integrated lifestyle approach that supports proper metabolism and homeostasis of all body systems.” What an excellent way to introduce a concise look at one’s overall good health requirements. Dr. Shantha Kumar’s book, 3-in-1 Diet Cookbook: A Holistic Approach to Vegetarian Diet Planning, is a key resource to help readers achieve a good diet and healthy lifestyle balance. The book is well organized, with clear insight into the benefits of including specific nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, and fats in one’s diet and keeping a tally of one’s daily calorie count. The author has provided charts that outline weight status based on body height, daily energy expenditure, daily dietary allowances and so much more.

After a thorough introduction to important details like health management, weight control, diabetic control, and cardiac health, Dr. Shantha Kumar provides multiple daily menu selections, complete with recipes and nutrition facts tables. The recipes are well organized and provide useful information on the ingredients used. Overall, 3-in-1 Diet Cookbook is a great resource for healthy vegetarian meal planning leading to weight control, as well as blood sugar control and cardiac health.
