A Camping Conundrum by Stacy Walker is an investigation of robbery and murder on a camping trip. This is a fast-moving story that holds the reader’s attention from the first page to the very last. The main characters are Liz, who is an exemplary Certified Private Investigator, with a black Lab, Duke, as her sidekick. Brad is her husband, who was the owner of an Identity Theft Protection company, which he sold for a vast amount of money. Brad takes the Sprinter Van, kitted out for a PI with all the latest equipment needed to do the very best work. They go to Poinsett Park in South Carolina. The adventure starts when they meet Park Ranger Pete, who tells them about a series of robberies at the park. Liz and Brad Adams are a most delightful couple who work together like an extension of each other.

In A Camping Conundrum by Stacy Walker, the camping trip that was only supposed to be for a long weekend is extended when a murder is committed. Brad finds the body, and this causes Liz to offer her services to the police department to help solve the murder. The author introduces many colorful characters that Liz and Brad meet with their dog Duke, who yips when anyone tells a lie. I love Duke and the way Liz and Brad speak to him as if he understands, which he does. I love the 'yip' when someone lies. Dogs are very intuitive and can detect a lot. I enjoyed how the story meanders through the Town Sumter near Poinsett Park. The author concludes the tale in a way that the reader would not expect, but it will bring a smile to their lips. Thank you for this delightful book, Stacy. I definitely will be reading it again.
