Children's book: A Nature Trio: Three Stories For Children (bedtime stories for children) by Roderick J. Robison is a collection of short stories and poems which introduces young readers to animal life including animal habits and environment. The stories also introduce readers to the concepts of listening, respect, patience, and perseverance.
A Turtle for Anna: Anna and her father are on the river in their boat, searching for turtles. Anna catches a turtle with her father, but not before learning the valuable lesson of having patience, control, and being able to listen. Geni’s Gulls: Geni and her family are on an island vacation for an entire week. Geni takes a special interests in 3 baby sea gulls whose mother seems to have abandoned them. The Fisherman’s Son: Tiago observes his father each morning as he prepares himself and his boat for a day of fishing. Tiago wants to be a fisherman just like his father one day. Tiago gets the chance when his father unexpectedly is injured and cannot provide for his family.
Roderick J. Robison has taken experiences from his own life and created delightful and lighthearted stories for children to learn from and enjoy. Each of his stories provides a valuable life lesson for parents to teach their children. The stories provide readers with information on animals and teaches readers to be respectful and have patience when encountering them. A Nature Trio is a wonderful book for both children and adults to enjoy.
