Glenn Searfoss' A Question of Time brings the beloved characters of Arthur Conan Doyle and H.G. Wells together in this homage to two of the greatest authors of the 19th century. After helping Sherlock Holmes recover from an incapacitating condition, Dr. John Watson questions his long-time friend about the reasons behind his weakened state, leading Holmes to relate an extraordinary story. Holmes tells Watson about an encounter with a man from the future, calling himself Murtaugh, who had invented a machine that enables the user to travel through time. Murtaugh recalls his adventures in a dark future, where humanity, as we know it, has all been wiped out. After completing his story, Murtaugh promises to visit Holmes two years later but fails to show up. Did Holmes meet Murtaugh, or is he just a figment of his debilitating condition?

Are you a fan of Sherlock Holmes? Is The Time Machine one of your favorite sci-fi classics? If yes, A Question of Time is just the book for you. Using some of the beloved characters of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and H.G. Wells, Glenn Searfoss has crafted a captivating sleuth mystery that transports you into the realm of science fiction as it was written in the Victorian era. Searfoss perfectly captures the dynamic between Watson and Holmes, using their famous personas with wit and banter, just like their previous appearances in various fictional mediums. Aside from the Time Traveler, the Eloi and the Morlocks also make an appearance, creating a vibrant narrative full of nostalgic fervor for fans of the classics. Highly recommended.
