All For Love by Ann Swann is an engrossing read. An explosion brings Liz and Quinn into the reader’s view right away. It was love at first sight for Liz when she saw Quinn. Handsome, charming, and athletic, he stole her heart forever. They fall in love and so begins what could be an epic tale of love, deception, rejection, and reconciliation. The necessary ingredients for a good romance. Sadly, all good things can come to an end and they experience a falling out, due to a former girlfriend appearing, claiming to be pregnant with Quinn’s baby. Liz’s hopes and dreams are dashed when Quinn decides to do the right thing – not necessarily the best thing for Liz. Time becomes a nightmare for her as her life tumbles out-of-control and she is faced with a major decision that will cause her much regret.

How she overcomes the hurts of her life makes for interesting reading. She becomes philosophical as one discovery after another causes her to question her sanity, as well as Quinn’s character. Her perseverance is repaid time and again as she determines her broken heart will recover. But how? is the question. What happens to Quinn and with Quinn made me sad for Liz. She suffers much, but still smiles and forgives. All For Love is a good story, told in flashbacks but with clarity and detail that leave the reader visualizing and sharing Liz’s heartbreaks and triumphs. I enjoyed the book and found it refreshing in that profanity and sordid sexual descriptions were non-existent. A really good read.
