Author Sandra Brown does it again! Another Dawn (Coleman Family Saga Book 2) is another delightful romance with sizzle. Another Dawn allows readers to once again visit with the Coleman Family. Banner Coleman (Lydia and Ross’s daughter) was all set to be married, but on her wedding day she discovers her groom has been unfaithful. Jake Langston, although quite a bit older than Banner, finds himself more than attracted to her. He finds it impossible to deny his feelings, especially when Banner is determined to win his love. Another Dawn is set twenty years after Sunset Embrace. The setting is a western town in Texas. The reader will remember many of the secondary characters from Book 1. Priscilla is back - 20 years older but just as determined to cause trouble for the Colemans. Ross and Lydia return as important but secondary characters.
Author Sandra Brown is the queen of romance with sizzle and Another Dawn definitely has sizzle. Another Dawn was originally written and published early in author Sandra Brown’s career. The publishers blew the dust off of the original and republished it. There are several things that stand out in this book: Jake Langston is old enough to be Banner’s father; the romance between them worked but it was rather shocking at first. One of the main characters leaves the stage in this sequel. I must admit to shedding a few tears. Sandra Brown’s characters are always believable and they have realistic flaws. As always, I enjoyed Sandra Brown’s book and I can hardly wait to see what she is planning next.
