Linda King is a seasoned traveler whose experiences have led to some memorable stories when visiting some amazing places, suffering harrowing misadventures, and meeting a lot of interesting people along the way. These people are important characters in Antics from Abroad: More Mayhem. She shares these entertaining stories of her travels to the USA, France, Italy, and more. Linda mentions a brawling couple in Paris. She tells of cities like Amsterdam where the so-called “coffee shops” lead you to reactions that are common while under the influence. There are places where you can get mind-altering drugs or get high just from breathing. These places are inviting as you forget all your troubles for a while, but they can be dangerous. Italy's pickpockets have an impressive array of tricks and techniques to separate you from your money and belongings. She tells the story of the time she enjoyed her food, but could not help reflecting on how a moment of anger and hunger can quickly spiral into chaos and drama, offering pivotal moments of living and reliving the happenings.

The emotions we feel on a trip can be disappointment, frustration, fear, or regret but also fun and excitement. Linda King invites us to laugh with her at incidents that may seem foreign. The key is to control your emotions and remain calm and safe. If you get upset, be ready to experience delays and no resolution. In Antics From Abroad: More Mayhem, Linda identifies certain instances where one should take advice, be careful, and heed one's instincts. She says waiting around is one reality of travel. It can be stressful and boring with many disadvantages. Her goal is to inspire you to explore and travel this beautiful world of ours. Traveling comes with risks, but it is a worthwhile adventure that enriches your life. If you want travel tips to create your master plan for an exciting journey abroad, follow and learn from Linda’s traveling experiences. Traveling takes you places where you can have first-hand experiences as opposed to some fabricated directives. Linda’s writing style is entertaining, and it has convinced me that travel adventures, including some frightening ones too, are indelible experiences to widen our horizons and make life exciting. I highly recommend this book.
