Better Than Credit Repair: The Handbook of Credit Mastery by Tamara Rasheed talks about utilizing credit and includes such topics as Using Credit Cards To Increase Your Credit Scores as well as Lowering Your Interest Rates By Making Payments a Certain Way. With a decade or more experience as a credit specialist, Rasheed talks about credit in both positive and negative terms, based on what she's seen in both her personal and professional life. She shares her personal stories of making poor decisions in her youth, as well as being a victim of identity theft. Of particular note is the chapter on Six Areas of Special Attention where she advises to keep 65% of your available credit untouched, pay attention to due dates, pay your credit card bill more than once a month, and use credit cards to pay for items that you already have cash on hand to pay.

A very basic overview of credit is provided in Better Than Credit Repair: The Handbook of Credit Mastery by Tamara Rasheed, but she has offered her consulting services throughout the book if a reader were to need more in-depth information or credit counseling. This is a very short read and applies much more to the credit mastery portion of the title than to the credit repair aspects of finances. The Handbook of Credit Mastery teaches you why you need to establish credit goals and how to do that. Rasheed's section on Ten Steps to Spring Cleaning Your Credit Reports was especially informative and helpful.
