Big Birthday for Little Zee by Tatiana Bell begins when a young boy discovers a massive green creature hiding in the forest while playing hide and seek with his friends. Initially frightened, the young boy is wary of the beast. However, he soon realizes that the large creature is friendly and innocent. Its size may seem intimidating, but it was the exact opposite of scary. Beneath a friendly exterior, it appeared that this big, cheerful creature had a sad and lonely past. Tatiana Bell’s Big Birthday for Little Zee is a heartwarming, well-written, and fast-paced story. I loved the beautifully done artwork on every page. The colorful illustrations perfectly captured Little Zee’s adorable and innocent aura, grabbing and holding my attention throughout the book. This enjoyable story is ideal for parents to read to their children, as it conveys several valuable lessons. One of the key lessons I got from the story is the idea that one should not judge a book by its cover. Little Zee may have appeared scary, but deep down, he had a big heart and a lonely past that no one should have to experience. The little boy demonstrated what it truly means to be a good friend by showing compassion and empathy toward little Zee. His actions showed the importance of kindness and how it can leave a lasting positive impact on those who experience it. We could all learn valuable lessons from their friendship. Overall, it is an adorable and meaningful story. Well done!
