In Case Files from the Nightfall Detective Agency: Fury of the Vampire by David Alyn Gordon, Abraham had tried to build a holy tower to the heavens, but El had struck it down. From then on, the people shunned Abraham. He wandered aimlessly and became lovers with Lilith. Abraham was also entrusted with a powerful ring. Abraham’s duty was to give the ring to David’s son, Solomon, when he was anointed king at the Gihon Spring. A gift from El to David in his final days, the ring would allow the wearer to control both the natural and the unnatural world. Many creatures seek the ring to establish a new world order. As things unfold and many plans are put in place, a Congressman is killed during a campaign. An actress and more people die from using river water the same day. The events are not all coincidental and reveal how far the dark forces have come in their quest. Can Detectives Mueller and Tori save the day?

Fury of the Vampire by David Alyn Gordon is a unique and interesting read that captured my imagination with its crisp and engaging writing style. The creatures involved piqued my curiosity about mythology. This thought-provoking work also depicts concepts like the new world order and eugenics, which I have read a lot about recently. What would be the impact on the world if such issues became mainstream? The author also ensured all events and emotions were vividly described, which helped create a mental picture of what was happening, and the characters were well-developed. The reader will also appreciate the excellent narrative, which adds to the overall beauty of the work. This is a good book, and I look forward to reading more by this author.

Case Files from the Nightfall Detective Agency: Fury of the Vampire by David Alyn Gordon is a thrilling story that continues the investigative adventures of detectives Tori Jacobsen and Abraham Mueller. They are not ordinary detectives, as Tori is a vampire, while Abraham is a werewolf. Lilith, Abraham's old acquaintance, is in town with a bioweapon. Meanwhile, her estranged genie daughter, Lili, and her master, Ahriman, are seeking political power and aiming to change the course of history by acquiring the Ring of Solomon, which grants power over the natural and supernatural. The team is joined by skin walkers Nizhoni and her brother-in-law, Klah, from the Navajo tribe, after they discover that Nizhoni's children, Malia and Dason, are in danger. Despite having strong allies, the Nightfall Detectives face significant challenges as they must travel through time and different realities to thwart Lilith and Lili's plans.

Fury of the Vampire is a captivating tale that will take you on a wild adventure through time. Tori and Abraham not only tackle mysterious cases, but also work to prevent an impending apocalypse. This story transcends a simple good-versus-evil narrative, as it dives into the complex relationships between characters, making them relatable and sympathetic. Lilith and Lili are no ordinary mother and daughter, and Tori and her love interest, Richardson, face challenges in their relationship. David Alyn Gordon has given each character depth and a personality that is unique to them. The pacing is engaging, ensuring that readers remain immersed in the narrative from beginning to end, rooting for the protagonists and anxiously hoping they will survive and not lose to the villains. The plot intricately weaves together fictional, mythological, and historical figures, including King Solomon, David, Lucifer, and Roosevelt. Be prepared to expect the unexpected when reading this story. Overall, this is an excellent read for anyone who enjoys a compelling plot with a diverse blend of genres, including supernatural, horror, mystery, crime, investigation, romance, mythology, and fantasy.

Case Files from the Nightfall Detective Agency: Fury of the Vampire is a crime horror story by David Alyn Gordon. Something is definitely wrong in Tucson, as several people have died under mysterious circumstances. A councilman has been assassinated, a silent movie star has died a suspicious death, and three Latino children have all perished while camping near the same river. The precinct is also facing the loss of Sergeant Jefferson. Vampire Detective Tori Jacobsen and her werewolf partner, Abraham Mueller, have their work cut out for them as they investigate these cases, which they soon discover are all linked to old foes they have faced before. The Apocalypse is looming, and it is up to them to stop it by preventing the Ring of Solomon—a powerful artifact that can control both the supernatural and the natural—from falling into the wrong hands.

Fury of the Vampire is the third installment in the series, continuing the adventures of Tori and Abraham. The story is particularly chilling because Abraham has a history with the villains, and he knows just how dangerous they can be. Set mainly in 1929, the narrative also incorporates time travel and flashbacks. David Alyn Gordon's imaginative tale is rich with fantasy and supernatural elements, including vampires, werewolves, skin walkers, zombies, nephilim, and genies. This creative blend offers a captivating and entertaining read for those who enjoy historical settings infused with adventures that combine the intrigue of the past with the thrill of mythical beings and historical, political, and religious characters. The storyline is unpredictable, filled with suspenseful moments and romantic scenes. I truly enjoyed this book and believe it is a great addition to the series. The battle is not yet over, and I look forward to reading more of these characters' adventures.
