Victoria Pinder grew up in Irish Catholic Boston then moved to Miami. Eventually, found that writing is her passion.

Chaperoning Paris is the story of Gigi Dumont and Sean Collins, former high school sweethearts. Both Gigi and Sean are back at home, as next door neighbors due to life’s curve balls. It is a shock to both of them, seeing one another again and under such odd circumstances. Sean has just bought the school where he was fired because his cancer would increase insurance premiums and Gigi is the French teacher leading an international competition in Paris that is on the chopping block. Sean gets to decide her fate, but will he base it on the Gigi of today or the one who broke his teenage heart? Victoria Pinder does a great job of painting the trip to Paris and the wide-eyed stares of the students. Their excitement was as clear as the tension between Gigi and Sean all week.
Although Sean and Gigi had a young romance, their story was more than a basic misunderstanding in their past. Between her scheming mom and her inability to stand up for herself, their teen love didn’t stand a chance, nor did Gigi’s wishes of a fairytale ending. In Chaperoning Paris you have two people who both want the same thing, happiness, yet one of them doesn’t believe herself worthy of it. Victoria Pinder has written a wonderful and emotional story of forgiveness and second chances. The tension and love and chemistry is still there and quite visible for even the French students to witness, but it is the students who often stole the scenes. Whether it was the shy Erika or the outspoken Queen Bee Kendra, they were funny, precocious and lovable.
