Create Your Author Platform is the third book in Rochelle Carter's series, The Authorpreneur's Guide to Publishing. While book 1 deals with editing your book and getting it ready for publishing, book 2 deals with creating a business plan for your book sales. Book 3 is all about becoming an approachable author about whom readers can easily find information: the kind of information that makes them want to buy that author's books.
Create Your Author Platform by Rochelle Carter is all about building your audience, and I think the various ways of creating an author platform covered in this short eBook are ways you really need to know about. This is not a book by an author who tries to convince you that only one way is right, e.g. telling you which way worked for her and then trying to tell you this is the only way that works. Instead, you get introduced to a variety of ways to become known as a writer.
Rochelle Carter's books in this series are all very compact, yet full of useful information. I would recommend that you have a look at all of them - or just go right ahead and buy the bigger books by the same author as they carry even more information within them. If, however, you only need the basic information, briefly introduced, then this mini series is the ideal choice, especially if you only need information on one particular topic, like creating your own author platform in this case.
