Kids love tangible things from dolls, games, action figures, and balls to cars. These things help to enrich the child’s cognitive development which allows them to explore a number of skills and abilities experienced through touch, sight, and sound. In the beautifully illustrated children’s book, Cruz’s Cars by Michael Ukoha, the author has turned his love for cars into an inspiring book. When Cruz received a red box with a white bow as a gift from his parents, he was excited to open the box and find a red car. Immediately, Cruz knew that he must test out his car. During the ride to the park, his parents were able to point out the various types of cars that they saw on the road. Just like Cruz, your child will have the ability to connect with the world around them through this interactive experience, making them want to understand the world around them more and more.
I fully enjoyed Cruz’s Cars by Michael Ukoha because this book is suitable for school-aged children and can encourage them to read while learning about the different types of cars that they see around them. In this book, children will see coupes, sports cars, convertibles, and hatchbacks which, just like Cruz, will excite their imaginations as well. Children are curious and, as parents, we are positioned to introduce our children to new and different things that they would not have otherwise considered. Just like Cruz’s parents, we have the advantage of making and stimulating youngsters by pointing out the character and personality of each car and what makes them special. By reading this book, your child may never look at cars the same way. So get a copy and get ready for some fun!
