Hop on for a thrill, adventure, and action-packed treat in Dragon Love by Eileen Sheehan. The inner-earth people have closely monitored the surface earth for a long time. The recent actions of the surface earth's people in abusing the planet's resources have led the inner earth kingdom of Manthella to send Tristan, a well-respected warrior, to the surface. But before he can begin his mission, Tristan is captured by a mad scientist and locked in a laboratory for experiments. Tristan's mission takes an unexpected turn in the facility when he crosses paths with a woman he has been having dreams about. The woman, Chloe Kensington, has been deployed as an undercover agent to investigate the case of girls missing after meeting with the scientist. After Chloe and Tristan escape from the facility, their chemistry turns romantic. They are ready to embrace each other and declare their love. But first, they must defeat an army of abominable creations and their world of difference.

This book has a fantastic plot. The story is thick with suspense, nail-biting twists of events, and thrilling action. The tension builds just a few minutes into the prologue as Tristan starts a perilous journey through a dangerous territory ruled by meta-naturals. Eileen Sheehan leaves out the deep scientific content of sci-fi and focuses on the unfolding action with just enough relevant explanations. She skillfully constructed vivid descriptions that seamlessly transport you into the scenes. They have been narrated extensively, making every event sink in and be visualized in the reader's mind. My tranquil mood switched to nervous alertness upon the sound of stone grating on stone behind Chloe in the dark cave. I couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching her every move from the enormous boulder at the end of the cave. Though the book has many characters, they are well developed, and every reader will find their favorites. The book focuses on themes that are significantly motivating. The romance, for instance, as displayed by Chloe and Tristan in their care, love, and faithfulness, is so moving. This book is meant to entertain and educate on relationships, loyalty, and survival. If you are a fan of fantasy and exhilarating adventure novels, then you should check out Dragon Love.

Life is what happens while you’re busy making plans - this could not be more true than in Dragon Love by Eileen Sheehan. Tristan found himself forced to go on a mission to the surface which resulted in him being trapped in an underground laboratory by a mad scientist. The only good thing about this was that he finally seemed to have met the woman of his dreams. Chloe had been sent to investigate a scientist suspected of conducting horrible experiments when she encountered Tristan. The two quickly realized there was a deep attraction between them and Chloe helped him escape, which set off a series of events she could never have imagined.

Dragon Love by Eileen Sheehan is my idea of the perfect fantasy romance. A rugged and handsome male lead with perfect manners paired with a feisty and independent woman who encounters a world of hardships which leads them to fall madly in love. I don’t think I could ask for more and certainly not when Sheehan has provided us with such a vast and complex world filled with a multitude of creatures and races. I enjoyed every encounter with other shifters and was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of vampires as well. I have no complaints where the pacing and writing of the story are concerned and found myself loving all the characters I met. I felt that each encounter between them just helped further the relationship between Tristan and Chloe. This book was such a joy to read and I breezed through it.

Dragon Love by Eileen Sheehan is a very well-written fantasy/sci-fi romance between humans and dragon shifters from another realm. The author has taken the romance genre and given it new life by adding intrigue, kidnapping, spying, and good old detective work to this captivating story. Eileen uses both the main and minor characters that accompany the reader to bring this story to life in the most interesting and exciting way. The main characters are King Edgar, Tristan, Myriana Chloe Kensington, Marcus, Jim Lancer, Raul Diego, Antoh Sudnik, Oleg, Dr. Victor Erikson, Bagman, Martha, Aunt Lizzy, and Jepson.

Eileen Sheehan has woven love, intrigue, heartbreak, and faith into the most delightful story. The twist and turns in the plot keep the reader's attention from the first chapter to the last. Eileen uses her writing skills to bring Dragon Love to a most usual and intriguing ending. Although not someone who reads a lot of sci-fi or fantasy, I really enjoyed reading this book and it held my attention to the end. The ending was not predictable, in as many romantic stories, but it was unexpected. Thank you for a wonderful read. I really enjoyed it!
